VR Initial Owner Training

3½ Week Comprehensive Program

Put simply: VR offers the most comprehensive training program available in the industry! Realizing how important education and professional development are to one’s success, VR operates with a blended training approach that encompasses; live in person training, virtual classrooms, video conferencing, cloud-based self-study webinars, and both hard and virtual copy of the manuals.

As a new VR franchisee, you will enter our profession by completing education programs contained in our 3 ½ week VR Initial Owner Training, where your trainers become your mentors:

Phase 1

Through the VR Master Business Intermediary Academy, you will begin your education with a variety of proprietary online VR classes. The ten-day program includes, but is not limited to:

These courses are selected from our MBI Academy inventory of over 75 courses and 100+ hours of recorded presentations to give you an understanding and basic background prior to attending live training.

Each day you will be given an agenda, a video webinar, “book-work” from VR manuals, and the opportunity to follow up with a VR instructor / mentor. Though each day of training is numbered, you work at your own pace so as not to feel rushed or pressured, which allows for the most beneficial results. Once the days agenda is complete, you sign off and receive the next days lessons.

Phase 2

Day’s number 11 and 12 are spent understanding the power of your offices VR website. Completing 25 mini-webinars (which can be reviewed again at any time in the future) educates you on the basic functions of your website and how it accesses the VR operating systems.
Once you have completed the mini-webinars an expert on the VR franchise websites will meet with you via video conference and shared screen. There is no need to worry, we don’t want you to be an expert in websites, search engine optimization, or social media. We just want you to have a basic understanding of the power of the tools we offer and how to leverage them.

Phase 3

Once you have successfully completed Phase 1 and Phase 2, you will be scheduled to attend Phase 3 training. This 5-day intense training class is limited to no more than 3 franchisees at any given time. Taught by our Director of Education and Professional Development, who during his time as a VR franchisee was not only a quarterly award winner consistently for over a decade, he also won the VR annual award for “#1 Owner” for personal production, and VR’s most prestigious award the “VR Most Valuable Intermediary”. To be trained in a new profession is important, to be trained by someone who is highly regarded in VR, and a TOP PRODUCER sets us apart.
This phase of training will leverage the courses you have already completed, and build the operational knowledge for being a successful business intermediary and VR business owner.

You now have the option to attend Phase 3 in person in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at our global headquarters: through “Teams” video conferencing for those who wish not to travel on a one-on-one basis; and prerecorded if for some reason the need arises.

If you decide on attending training at our global headquarters, you will have the opportunity to meet and bond with your support team and the others in your class. Continental breakfast is supplied daily, lunches are either “working”, ordered-in or off-site, and then the graduation on the water-front of Fort Lauderdale.

Operational Office Visit

Whether you have opted for Phase 3 in-person or through video conference, you will be visiting and attending a top producing VR office in Boca Raton, FL. 

This gives you the opportunity to meet the owner, sit in on a weekly sales meeting with the sales and administrative staff, and ask questions of all those attending.
This phase of training encompasses your daily operations as an intermediary and office owner.
