Maximizing Your Management of Time for Social Media

Every business should be using social media to market their products and services. One concern that arises from many owners is the amount of time needed to use social media effectively – ie posting on Facebook and Twitter. The majority of marketers spend an average of 6 hours a week. But if you’re a small business owner with a couple of employees to run everything, you have to use the time that you have available accordingly to maximize your social media work.

What many are using today to operate their social media marketing effectively is using something called digital asset management (DAM). With DAM, you can save time by building a database of content that can be re-used or recycled for multiple purposes. You can keep track of what content has already been used so you don’t duplicate the same material from before.

It can serve as both a one-stop point for:

·         Finding existing content;

·         Creating new content;

·         Finding an image for use.

With DAM, you can create a vast archive of content for managing media created by yourself, employees and customers, where you can include who can receive credit for the content, if there is permission to use in more than one website and other types of copyright permissions you may need.

DAM is a great tool to use for when you have little time available to do social media marketing. With all of you resources under one banner, you will be able to maximize your time quickly and effectively, while operating your business.
