James Clendenin, Managing Partner: James Clendenin (left) brings a unique perspective and expertise to the VR Business Brokers team, stemming from his time in both the private and public sectors. Following his education at Hesston College, James cut his teeth on business operations through managing industrial rental operations throughout the Midwest.
Later, James moved into Aircraft Manufacturing, developing an intimate relationship in advanced composite manufacturing and operational process improvement with Beechcraft and Goodrich Aviation. Beyond his in-depth knowledge of operations, James established and grew a successful flooring business and partnered in developing a highly successful Aroma Therapy business.
In 2011, James entered public service, being elected to the Wichita City Council. Fulfilling his desire to help and serve his community, James endeavored to learn the often confusing bureaucratic process to address and develop solutions for constituents, both individual and business. Beyond his public service, James has served and chaired numerous non-profit groups, allowing him to expand his network of reach, connecting otherwise disparate individuals into successful engagements.
