On May 25, 2021, Brandon Garcia and Young Bebus with VR Business Brokers & M&A of the Twin Cities (VR) facilitated the strategic sale of Environmental Design, Inc. to ProScapes, Inc. in under 4-months, from engagement to closing, breaking company record deal time.

Environmental Design, Inc. was a residential full-service landscaping company that has been providing design, horticulture, and construction landscaping design services in the Twin Cities Metro area for over 32 years. The Company was highly regarded in the community, maintaining a 5-star reputation throughout services websites and earning various accolades throughout the years, most notably Landscape Designers & Consultants “Best of 2019” award, Angie’s List “2020 Super Service” award, and much more! The Owner was ready to retire and looking to pass the baton to a new buyer. After calling VR, he learned he could transfer the business to a new owner while focusing on running his business, and it could all be done confidentially.

After VR screened dozens of prospective buyers, the perfect buyer was found, ProScapes, Inc. A historically commercial full-service landscaping company would now be making its debut into the residential market with the acquisition of Environmental Design, after over 60 years as a big player in the commercial arena.
