Beginning 2005 VR Business Sales / Mergers & Acquisitions has bestowed annually the VR Most Valuable Intermediary (“MVI”) Award in recognition of an individual who shows dedication, commitment, and professionalism in an outstanding manner both in the VR organization and our chosen profession.
The award recipient has stood out in assisting peers and team members, and shown respect along with appreciation to the entrepreneur whose businesses drive free enterprise.

Prior to joining VR, Mr. Guler was an established entrepreneur and skilled executive with proven experience in multiple industries and disciplines with over 15 years of experience.
He co-established a boutique asset management company in London, and has held Director, CFO, and CSO positions with European companies where he utilized his knowledge in private equity, corporate finance, along with mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Master Degree from San Diego State University.
During his time with VR, Baris has continued the commitment to being successful by becoming a Certified Business Intermediary (“CBI”) of the International Business Brokers Association, a Certified Business Appraiser with the International Society of Business Appraisers, a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Professional (“CMAP”) through Kennesaw University, is licensed through the Department of Financial Services in Florida to offer Trade Credit Insurance, and in May of 2023 will earn his Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediary (“M&AMI”) with the M&A Source.
Since his acquisition of the VR Boca Raton business, the office has continued to climb the organization rankings. In 2022, Mr. Guler had his sales team attend and complete the Kennesaw University Certified M&A Professional program, along with the Sandler Sales Performance Improvement program.
