Baris Guler, CBI, CVB, M.A., Broker, Owner: Baris is the owner of VR Business Brokers in Boca Raton. He is an established entrepreneur and skilled business manager with proven experience in multiple industries. In 2018, he decided to leverage his 15+ years of professional experience to enter the business brokerage sector. After months of research, he concluded that the best path for this new venture was to take advantage of our national brokerage platform.

Baris initially came to the US in 2001 for his Graduate Studies and holds a Masters Degree from San Diego State University. Baris started his career in 2004 as a Financial Advisor for American Express moving up to Wealth Management Advisor for Merrill Lynch. In 2009, he co-established a M&A advisory business under Covalence Partners London which grew into Covalence Asset Management Ltd., an asset management boutique based in London with wealth management, trading and advisory capabilities. In 2011 he accepted a management position at DenizBank working with Institutional Sales & Trading, Wealth Management, Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. In 2014 to today, Baris held Director, CFO and CSO positions of very important Eastern European Companies where he utilized his knowledge in Private Equity, Corporate Finance, M&A.

After extensive research, he acquired VR Business Brokers Mergers and Aquisitions in Boca Raton, Palm Beach County Florida. Eduardo Sosa, Business Intermediary: Eduardo Sosa has been exclusively dedicated to the Business Brokerage Industry since 2003. In over his 10 years of experience in this field, he has been actively involved in over 100 transactions involving the transfer of business ownership. He is a Venezuelan Attorney from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to becoming a Business Broker, Eduardo Sosa was a banker for over 20 years acting in various positions including member of the Board of Director of a Commercial Bank and President of a Lease Company and an Industrial Finance Corporation. After his banking career, he became Director and General Manager of the Venezuelan Subsidiary of Unisys Corporation where he managed a dedicated group of over 175 team players that increased sales in Venezuela from the US $ 20 million to $ 63 million in a four-year period. His training as an attorney, his business education, his experience in management and service commitment, has proven to be of invaluable help for people looking to sell or buy a business. Frank Feiler, Business Intermediary/VR Corporate Training: In my role, I am responsible for all Franchisee Owners Training and Support. I am also available to all franchise offices for onsite training, assistance in recruiting, implementation of “top performer” goal setting, and providing technical operations support.

For over 28 years, I have been in the Business Broker industry, and most recently served in a similar capacity with a nationally known Business Brokerage firm where 90 Business Brokers reported directly to me from multiple locations. I was directly involved with the start-up and training of over 40 new Franchisee Owners and their sales staff in a 12 month period.

Personally, I have successfully completed over 2,500 business sales in my career. My strengths in negotiations and advising how to troubleshoot difficult transactions is all part of my assistance to VR Franchisees. I am a Life member of the Business Brokers of Florida (BBF), have served as Vice President of the South Florida Chapter of the Florida Business Brokers Association (FBBA), and a member of the International Business Broker Association (IBBA).

Pedro L Maberti, Business Intermediary: Pedro Luis holds a Finance MBA and an Organizational Development Masters from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello while his Bachelor of Science in marketing is from Georgia State University and his Associate in Science Marketing Management was completed at Georgia Perimeter College. He can communicate fluently in English, Spanish and Italian.

His international background comes from a mix of corporate and entrepreneurial exposure. His early career was in the marketing, finance and large account’s sales organization of Unisys Corporation and Telcel Bellsouth Corporation in Venezuela where he consistently attained performance objectives and sales goals. Then he transitioned to owning and developing retail and wholesale jewelry organizations with a strong focus on optimizing and automating processes as well as using digitals tool and techniques to drive sales and provide support to customers.

Madeleine Knowles:
earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Florida International University in addition to a Certificate in Business Analytics from Harvard Business School. Madeleine has over 12 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development. She is a member of the Business Brokers of Florida and is a licensed real estate associate. Nicholas Rizzo: 
(Nick) Rizzo is a highly trained graduate of the VR Business Broker course of Business Brokerage for top producing Brokers and has been able to utilize his business and professional experience in helping Business Owners to develop a strategy of exiting their business, while also assisting both first time and more seasoned individuals in purchasing a business opportunity that fits their specific criteria.

Mr. Rizzo earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Economics, along with two minor degrees in Business Administration and Real Estate from the University of Florida. He has had extensive experience in both sales and negotiating as a commercial real estate sales associate, in addition to a strong understanding of data analytics and financial modeling. Jonathan Sigel comes to VR with 18 years of business consulting and B2B marketing experience. As a consultant to SMB and startup enterprises, his marketing and strategic planning expertise has spanned industries, including retail, wholesale distribution, technology, professional services, and manufacturing, among others. Recently, he was with Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a biometric identity and security technology service provider headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Earlier in his career, Jonathan was an analyst for Broad Oak in New York City where he developed financial valuation studies supporting a successful $150 million financing for a Texas-based oil and gas exploration start-up. He was the first-place winner of an IBM Corporation leadership competition and spent 12 years with the company, rising from an analyst to numerous senior marketing management roles with both budget and personnel management responsibilities. He was also a senior manager of marketing programs and enterprise solutions with NEC Corporation U.S., headquartered in Irving, Texas.
 
Mr. Sigel was awarded a bachelor of science degree by Harvard University (1994) and an MBA degree in finance and marketing from Baruch College, City University of New York (2004). He is also a professional musician (pianist and trumpeter). Mr. Sigel is originally from New York City and currently resides with his family in West Palm Beach, Florida.
