Oklahoma City and Texas Cities Named Most Friendly Toward Small Business

Business-Friendly Cities in the U.S. - VR Business BrokersIn a recent survey by Thumbtack.com, cities such as Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, San Antonio, Texas and Austin, Texas, were given the highest marks for business-friendly regulations.
 
As reported by the Wall Street Journal, approximately 6,000 small businesses owners took part in the survey, where they were asked to measure “overall regulatory friendliness” in such areas as environmental and labor rules, health and safety codes. All of which are essential for entrepreneurs to know that are in the market to buy a business.
 
Oklahoma City received the highest marks when businesses were asked about in the survey regarding hiring costs, networking programs and regulations toward licensing. Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio and Austin followed for having the least cumbersome regulations toward small business owners. States such as South Carolina also ranked high in business regulation-friendly environment for those looking into buying a business in that area.
