dynamic and intuitive business leader, Mr. King
began his career on Bay Street in Toronto with one
of Canada's oldest Merger's and Acquisitions firms.
Upon relocating in 1989 to the United States, King
was an instrumental part of Canada's largest Real
Estate companys American development plans. His
responsibilities included all legal and franchise
arena's through which his franchising intrigue
arose. From 1994 until his acquisition of VR in
1999, Mr. King returned to his roots and joined one
of America's largest investment banks on Wall St.
servicing large institutional clients.
In 1999, King saw an opportunity that would bring
the professionalism and service of investment
banking to the small and mid-size business owner,
and thus acquired VR Business Brokers. After
relocating the Corporate Offices to Fort Lauderdale,
Florida, the new vision for VR started to unfold.
Today King and his partner and President, JoAnn
Lombardi, lead VR as the only full-time network of
Professional Business Intermediaries in the world.
King believes that with strategic alliances with
organizations servicing other needs to the small and
mid-size business markets, allows VR to
differentiate itself now and into the future.

 The
leadership and strength of VR's President has been
instrumental in the streamlining of operations, and
the creation of programs to enhance the quality of
the franchise network. After 10 years of corporate
franchise experience, Ms. Lombardi became partner in
VR in 2001. She has continued to reinforce the VR
system with her wealth of franchise and business
operations experience. Her restructuring of VR
operations has seen an increase in services offered
to franchisees and to their client base.
Ms. Lombardi's previous ventures in the franchising
world included her successful role as Vice President
of Franchise Sales and Marketing for the franchisor
of the largest chain of women's only full service
health clubs in America. During her tenure, this
organization tripled the size of its franchise
network and was awarded numerous national awards for
franchising. This unique mixture of celebrated
franchising success, combined with her previous
entrepreneurial endeavors that concluded with the
profitable divestiture of multiple business
ventures, enhances VR's corporate perspective.
Ms. Lombardi's foundation of strength for VR,
derives its credo from striving to create a global
network for the company, and a open and fluid market
for business acquisition and divestiture.
