Prior to joining Marathon Business Group, LLC, Ray Melcher consulted for banks, insurance agencies, securities firms and other companies. He previously served as chairman, president and chief executive officer of Leesport Financial Corp and its wholly-owned subsidiaries Leesport Bank, Essick and Barr Insurance and Madison Financial Advisors. During his tenure, Leesport grew from $200 million of assets to over $900 million of assets. In addition, he presided over 11 acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.
Robert J. McCormack, CBI, AIBA
Bob McCormack is the founder of Marathon Business Group, LLC, and its affiliated company, Murphy McCormack Business Group, LLC. Bob brings significant merger and acquisition experience, business turnaround experience and financial expertise to the role. Previously, Bob served as president and chief executive officer of Sun Bancorp, Inc., a diversified financial services holding company with approximately $1 billion in assets. During his leadership at Sun, Bob negotiated numerous acquisitions of banks and other financial services companies, to grow the company’s asset size, geographic reach, revenue streams and diversify its products and services. In addition, he negotiated several divestitures. Bob has attained the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is Accredited by the Institute of Business Appraisers (AIBA).
David W. Wimer, CBI – Principal
Dave Wimer has a unique background as an “Owner’s Advisor” in finance. Since 1979 he has owned and operated diverse businesses. His hands-on experience includes – manufacturing, distribution, logistics, technology and professional services. He served as an executive officer leading three successful turnarounds for other owners of privately-held companies from $15 to $110MM. Dave has attained the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI).
John McCormack has over 20 years of leadership experience in government and private sector areas focused on innovative programs, grant writing, construction projects, human resources and fiscal planning. John secured extensive federal multi-million dollar service contracts and acted as an advisor, consultant, and committee member to several federal, state and municipal agencies.
Mr. Bradbury has 17 years of real estate experience serving Berks and Lancaster Counties, PA. He is a commercial realtor with US Commercial Realty, Lancaster specializing in commercial and industrial sales, lease negotiations, consulting and asset management.

Dennis brings many years of industry experience with prior roles in industry in key executive roles for private and public companies serving as CFO, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, internal audit, and financial reporting. Dennis has attained the designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Darryl has over 20 years of business experience including extensive international experience in Europe and Asia. His expertise includes manufacturing, engineering, financial analysis, Asian sourcing and contract manufacturing as well as conventional and internet marketing.

Jack Willoughby brings a strong manufacturing, retail, distribution, consumer products, and finance background to Murphy McCormack Business Group, LLC. Jack previously served as executive vice president for Pennsylvania House furniture, a subsidiary of La-Z-Boy. At Pennsylvania House, Jack had leadership responsibility for the Finance, IT, Manufacturing and Customer Service areas of the company. Jack brings experience as both an acquirer and a seller. He has attained the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI).

Sandy Miller provides merger & acquisition services to sell side small and lower middle market clients, prepares marketing packages, consults on strategic marketing issues, and provides buy side services. Sandy has more than 20 years of marketing and financial services experience with companies including SunBank, Keystone Financial, Inc., Federated Investors, Inc. and Pennsylvania House furniture. Prior to joining Murphy McCormack Business Group, LLC, Sandy was executive vice president for SunBank, a $1 billion regional bank in central and northeastern Pennsylvania. She has attained the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI).

Dan Mignogna provides merger & acquisition services to sell side middle market clients, prepares marketing packages, and prepares financial analysis. Prior to joining Murphy McCormack Business Group, LLC, Dan was director of corporate development for AMP, Inc., where he had global merger & acquisition responsibility. He helped close dozens of transactions involving acquisitions, divestitures and equity/venture capital financing. Dan’s unique skill set includes a degree in mechanical engineering as well as extensive financial and operational experience in various industries, locations, and company sizes.

Dan Rarig provides merger & acquisition services to sell side small and middle market clients, provides consulting on obtaining financing, and provides buy side services. Dan has more than 30 years of business experience and a diverse background which includes financial management and accounting, credit analysis, operations analysis and sales and marketing. He previously served as business development officer for Business Loan Express and operated a business management consulting practice which served numerous manufacturing and service businesses throughout central Pennsylvania.
