Steve Fischer, (Office Owner)
Certified Business Intermediary
As the previous owner of two businesses and current owner of the Wichita office of VR Business Brokers, Steve is uniquely qualified to represent the needs of business owners considering the sale of their business. He understands firsthand the challenges of the business owner in today’s market and has also experienced firsthand the joys and disappointments that occur when buying or selling a business. A Kansas native and Kansas State University graduate, Steve opened the Wichita office in 2008 and in 2009 was recognized as the VR Business Brokers Woldwide “Most Valuable Intermediary”.
Steve is one of three, active Certified Business Intermediaries (CBI) in south central Kansas. The CBI designation is awarded by the International Business Brokers Association to those business sales professionals who adhere to the IBBA’s high code of ethics and have completed additional training and testing in ethics, financial analysis, business valuations, legal and tax issues.
His office is a member of the Kansas Restaurant and Hospitality Association, Wichita Independent Business Association, Wichita Metro Area Chamber of Commerce and accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Steve is also a member of Rotary of Wichita and the Independent Business Brokers Association, a world-wide, not-for-profit association operating exclusively for the benefit of people and firms engaged in the various phases of business brokerage.
David Gordon (Intermediary)
 A veteran of business sales for nearly three years, David has successfully helped numerous business owners and entrepreneurs transition into and out of business. David has earned numerous awards from the VR’s world-wide headquarters as recognition for the business transfers he has completed. A lifelong resident of Kansas, David has also enjoyed many awards and accomplishments throughout his personal and pre-VR professional life.

Donna Gold (Broker Assistant)
New to our team, Donna works in conjunction with the intermediaries to assist sellers and buyers working with our office. A Wichita State graduate and previous operations manager for a local small business, she offers support to buyers and sellers as they navigate the transfer of the ownership process. She also coordinates our marketing campaigns.
