Christina Barnes
Vice President
Christina Barnes, Vice President, Designated Broker and co-owner of VR in Tempe. Prior to her involvement in Business Brokerage, Christina was a successful business owner and had her own Commercial / Fine Art business serving several Corporate clients. Her work has been distributed Nationally and Internationally and is still in distribution. Since entering the Business Brokerage industry, Christina has used her creativity to help business owners' structure their businesses for growth or sale. She is continually ranking in the top sales positions for VR , and has won several awards for being the Top Producer in the VR Network (over 100 offices), 1st Quarter 2003, 2nd Quarter 2004 an 4th Quarter 2005. As the Operating Officer for VR, Bob has the overall management responsibility for our brokerage company. In addition to degrees in Engineering and Law, Bob has an extensive background in management, having held executive positions with Westinghouse, General Tire and Tube Investments, Ltd., a British holding company. During the early 1980's, Bob set out on his own by acquiring his first privately held company, a plastics manufacturing firm in Florida. Since that time, he has owned and operated many companies as well as real estate investments, holding a majority interest in as many as five firms in 1990. As a successful business owner who has acquired, sold or merged several businesses for his own account, Bob lends his expertise in the areas of deal structure and financing as well as merger and acquisition engagements for VR.

With over 21 years experience in the business brokerage/commercial real estate arena he excels in providing sellers and buyers with the service and results they need and expect. Dean has been involved in transactions as small as $50,000 and those with prices in the millions. Having experience with all types of business in the past, if there is a deal to be made, he can create a solution that will be acceptable to the parties involved. Following his formal education, both under-graduate and post-graduate at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA. He entered the garment industry for several years in both partnership and complete ownership capacities. After selling his company in 1980, he entered the business brokerage/commercial real estate market. He has extensive expertise in business administration, finance, and general management and consumer relations. Dean is a dedicated professional who is service driven, ethical and results oriented.
Maynard A. Cook

A good old mid-western boy with roots in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Educated at the University of Minnesota, with many years of civic leadership at various levels of government. He has held management positions in the refining and insurance industries in the St. Paul, Minnesota area. In 1973 a move to Arizona was prescribed for the health concerns of his son. The move proved most beneficial for the boy and began a bright new career in sales and sales management for Maynard. He took on the responsibility of opening the first expansion office for the largest sales organization of it's kind in the industrial, medical and research market. He created the model for subsequent expansions and his office set the pace for overall sales and customer satisfaction. Continued involvement in civic affairs and the business community have paved the way to a successful transition into business brokerage. His many years of dealing with owners of a wide range of businesses will definitely assure satisfaction with both buyers and sellers.
