Meet Our Team
Rosalyn Caltrider is a Director with the Maui office of VR Business Brokers. She brings to VR a diverse background with experience in Law, Business Development and Real Estate Development. Prior to joining VR, Rosalyn had a fourteen year career with Norfolk Southern Corporation (NS), a multi-billion dollar transportation company. Her last position within NS was as Director of Real Estate Development, responsible for the development of non-operational company properties. The position included P&L responsibility for 16 joint ventures valued at $400 million and comprised of office buildings, shopping centers, warehouses and vacant land. Prior to that, she held the position of Manager of Business Development, specializing in creating non-traditional income streams from underutilized properties. She began her career as a corporate attorney handling all aspects of real estate transactions. Her background places her in the optimal position of understanding the complexities of selling and buying a business.
Rosalyn received her JD from Emory University Law School, attended the Advanced Management Program at Duke University, and has a BA from Georgia State University. She is a member of the Georgia Bar and the American Bar Association. She is also proud to be a member of the Board of Directors for The Friends of the Children’s Justice Center.

Tom Caltrider is the Managing Director with the Maui Office of VR Business Brokers and has over 30 years of very broad business experience. His last corporate position was as Senior Vice President of Johns Manville responsible for the $1 billion fiberglass insulation business. Prior to that he was President and CEO of Gundle Environmental Services; Vice President of GE Plastics Pacific based in Singapore; and, Vice President of Petrochemicals for Borg-Warner Chemicals. He has a strong background in sales, marketing, finance, business development, purchasing, and joint venture and trade association leadership, all of which are employed in the complex endeavor of business brokerage.
Tom received an MBA from Ohio University, attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and has a BS in business from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association, the industry’s leading trade association, which awarded him its Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation. In addition, the Exit Planning Institute has award Tom their Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) certification. He is very active in the local Maui community, as Past President of the Rotary Club of Maui, and as a member of the Maui Executives Association and Maui Chamber of Commerce.
