The Buying Process

VR not only provides services for Sellers, we provide unparallel service for Buyers as well. If a Buyer chooses to purchase an existing business within our network or would like Buyer representation for purchasing a business outside of our network, we offer support and assistance through a multi-step process.

We first ask for a certain level of commitment to be put into this process. A disclosure agreement and background information will be then be provided by the buyer. VR will then review and discuss various types of business with you according to your buying preferences. After you have settled on business to pursue, there will be a showing of the business followed by a meeting between buyer and seller.

If a buyer still pursues purchasing the business, an offer of purchase is made with VRs assistance and then formally presented to the seller. Along with the offer we provide background information on the buyer to the seller, and an explanation of the terms and conditions set forth in the formal offer. If the seller accepts the offer and agree's to all terms there is Mutual Acceptance and due diligence commences.

Due diligence is completed when both parties have removed all contingencies on each other, count inventory (if the business is inventory-based) and payments are properly in place with Esrow. VR then provides all documents to the transferring agent (Escrow) so they can prepare closing paperwork.

The finale is at Closing when both parties come together to make sure the business exchanges properly.
