Meet Our Team

After 20 years in senior management with FASTSIGNS International, Inc., including nearly four years as its president, Larry Lane has opened the McKinney, TX office of VR Business Brokers.

 While at FASTSIGNS, Lane helped build the international sign and graphics franchisor's network of 500+ centers.  He joined the company in 1988, working directly with franchisees to help insure their success.  From 1989 through 2005, Lane held various management positions including, Director of Operations, Vice President of International Development, Vice President Franchise Development, and Senior Vice President of Franchise Relations and Development.  In January 2006, he became the company's president and held that position until he opened the VR office in McKinney in October 2009.

 During his tenure with FASTSIGNS, Lane helped people through all phases of their business life - purchasing the franchise, successfully managing the business, and then helping the franchisee exit the business at the right time to maximize their investment.

While at FASTSIGNS Lane was also exposed to the world of private equity, having experienced firsthand the purchase of FASTSIGNS International, Inc. by two different private equity firms over a 10 year period.

 Lane is a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB), and the McKinney Chamber of Commerce.
