      Larry Lane
      Principal Intermediary


      After 21 years in senior management with FASTSIGNS International, Inc., including nearly four years as its president, Larry Lane opened the McKinney, TX office of VR Business Brokers in 2009.

 While at FASTSIGNS, Larry helped build the international sign and graphics franchisor's network of 500+ centers.  He joined the company in 1988, working directly with franchisees to help insure their success.  From 1989 through 2005, Larry held various management positions including, Director of Operations, Vice President of International Development, Vice President Franchise Development, and Senior Vice President of Franchise Relations and Development.  In January 2006, he became the company's president and held that position until he opened the VR office in McKinney in October 2009.

 During his tenure with FASTSIGNS, Larry helped people through all phases of their business life - purchasing the franchise, successfully managing the business, and then helping the franchisee exit the business at the right time to maximize their investment.

While at FASTSIGNS Larry was also exposed to the world of private equity, having experienced first hand the purchase of FASTSIGNS International, Inc. by two different private equity firms over a 10 year period.

Jeff Goldblatt

Upon graduation from the State University of New York at Brockport, Jeff began a successful 33 year career in the wholesale apparel industry. For the first 17 years of his career, Jeff owned & operated an apparel distribution company. Jeff than accepted an offer join the prestigious Polo Ralph Lauren brand as Vice President of Regional Sales for the Southwest & Southeast regions. This position moved Jeff and his family to the Dallas – Ft. Worth area. After achieving success in building the Polo Ralph Lauren brand with his retail account base, Jeff was promoted to nationally manage two new brand launches for Polo Ralph Lauren. With his position being centralized to the New York office in 2010, Jeff decided to remain in Dallas – Ft. Worth and pursue new career opportunities in this diverse, dynamic business market.

 Jeff’s strong knowledge base of retail business combined with his sales, marketing & analytical skills led him to begin a career as a Business Intermediary. Jeff’s goal is to offer world class brokerage services to his customers while strictly adhering to principles of honesty, integrity & confidentiality.     Ruth Ann Reagan

  An experienced entrepreneur and business owner, Ruth Ann joined the McKinney office of VR Business Brokers after the profitable sale of her own company.  As a former business owner, Ruth Ann understands the excitement associated with purchasing a new or existing business as well as how difficult the decision to sell can be for those who have poured their time and energy into building a successful business. Her love for becoming an entrepreneur was instilled in her at an early age by her grandfathers who owned several companies including: roofing company, Bar-B-Q restaurant, Christian book store and radiology medical practice.

 

“Over the last 18 years I have had the privilege of sitting on both sides of the negotiating table; as a purchaser and seller of several sign companies.  I believe this gives me a unique insight to the needs of both sellers and purchasers.
