CHARLOTTE, NC - VR's Corporate Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is proud to announce that the 2007 #1 Office Award worldwide went to the VR in Charlotte, North Carolina office owned by Brad and Jay Offerdahl. CEO Peter King and President Jo Ann Lombardi presented the VR office in Charlotte with the #1 award at the annual convention held recently in Las Vegas, Nevada, noting that VR in Charlotte topped all 120 offices worldwide in business sales in 2007. In addition to the #1 Office Award, Charlotte had three people recognized for individual achievement. Phil Hagey, Executive Business Intermediary, was ranked 10th worldwide as an Associate, Brad Offerdahl was ranked 2nd as an individual owner and Jay Offerdahl 5th individually.

VR Mergers and Acquisitions in Charlotte Facilitates Sale of Solid Surface Countertops Company

CHARLOTTE, NC--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 10, 2008 -- Charlotte's VR Mergers and Acquisitions, the leading business brokerage firm in the Carolinas, has just completed the transaction of Solid Tops, a solid surface and granite countertops company. Conveniently located in Indian Trail, Solid Tops has been in business for over 14 years and is recognized as one of the original solid surface countertop companies in the Charlotte area. It has been sold to Ray Saunders and will continue to operate under the Solid Tops name.
Solid Tops is one of the few companies in the greater Charlotte area that works with both solid surface and granite. They service major home centers and work with builders and contractors on custom homes and remodeling projects.
Jay Offerdahl, co-owner of VR Mergers and Acquisitions Charlotte, represented the seller, Bryon Beck, throughout the transaction. Offerdahl says, "The sale of Solid Tops generated a lot of interest and resulted in an attractive exit strategy for business owner Beck. New owner Ray Saunders has the advanced technological and business background to continue the impressive growth of the business."
The sale of Solid Tops is VR in Charlotte's third countertop manufacturer in the past twelve months.
