Jennifer A. Mason 

Jennifer Mason brings an extensive background in commercial finance, business ownership, and business brokerage. She began her career as a construction lender where she developed a unique talent for understanding complex financial statements. Subsequently, she took on a management role with a start-up mortgage company which she helped grow from its infancy to its flourishing as a public company. In the late 1980's, she became a Real Estate Investment Banker for a major Boston Bank. During the 1990's, Jennifer was an owner of a property management company that had over 2300 residential units under management. It was so successful that a regional property management company approached Jennifer and her partners with an offer to buy the company, which they ultimately accepted. The next venture was to own and operate a licensed daycare center where her people skills were further developed in her daily interaction with preschoolers and their parents. Jennifer has been a Business Broker and Intermediary since 2000. In the ensuing years, she has successfully represented Sellers and found Buyers for companies in a broad array of industries including: manufacturing, retailing, automotive, service, and industrial, to name just a few. Her business mission is to always exceed the expectations of the many people involved in taking a company from the listing, to offer, and to closing. She is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in finance, is a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker.

Jim Kasputis 

Jim Kasputis brings over 30 years of business experience at retail and wholesale companies in various levels of management to the business brokerage industry. This allows him to really delve into the operations of a Sellers business and not only understand it well, but identify areas of improvement that a new Purchaser can utilize after the closing. His clients appreciate this insight and are continually referring their friends, family members, and business associates to him when they want to buy or sell a company. In addition, Jim currently owns his own business; a successful dry cleaner. Peter Quandt 

Peter Quandt is a broker with VR Business Brokers in Hingham, Massachusetts, serving eastern Massachusetts and the Cape Cod area. A licensed real estate salesperson, he has represented for sale a wide variety of businesses, including those with real estate and buildings as part of their assets. Peter served for ten years as a Foreign Service Officer, including three years as a Commercial Officer at the US Embassy in Rome, where he managed the commercial services unit. Following Rome, he served several assignments in Washington, where he was analyzed and presented projects for review by the Export-Import Bank, OPIC, World Bank, and United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.

More recently, Peter has been involved with private sector projects, including telecommunications and other technology companies, and with commercial construction and development. Mr. Quandt speaks Italian and French and holds a Master of Science Degree from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, in addition to a Bachelor’s in International Economics from Lehigh University. He is a co-founder of the Italy-New England Chamber of Commerce.

Juan Ortiz

Juan Ortiz’s background is an interesting and diverse one that includes spending his childhood years in the Middle East and attending prep school in Connecticut. From there he continued his studies at The Carroll School of Management at Boston College and graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Boston with a B.S. in Management and Marketing. Before the completion of his final year, Mr. Ortiz began a music production company, which serviced the Boston and New York demographic for 10 years. He has been with VR Business Brokers since 2006 and responsible for sales in manufacturing, service, and retail. In addition he speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic. Juan is very tenacious is matching buyer and sellers together and has a very calm manner in dealing with people. Vicki Donlan 

Vicki Donlan is a business broker with VR Business Brokers in Hingham, MA. Her extensive experience working with small businesses, growing and selling her own, and having a far-reaching network cause her to be a resource every buyer and seller needs.

Ms. Donlan is the former publisher and founder of Women’s Business, a 25,000 controlled-circulation newspaper devoted to women in business in the Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island region, founded in 1998, and sold to the Boston Herald in 2004, remaining as publisher through 2007.

Her first book HER TURN Why It’s Time for Women To Lead in America was published in September 2007. She is a regular guest discussing women in business on New England Cable News’ Business Day and a well-known speaker.Ms. Donlan was the first Executive Director of The Commonwealth Institute, where she facilitated CEO forums to assist in the growth of $250,000 to over $5M small businesses.

As co-founder and first Executive Director of the South Shore Women’s Business Network and founder of The Alliance of Women’s Business and Professional Organizations, she has been instrumental in the growth of networking for women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. She was honored by the U.S. SBA as the Massachusetts and New England Women in Business Advocate for 1994 for her efforts in working with women in small to medium size businesses. In 1997, she was honored with the SSWBN Women Mean Business Award for her continuing efforts to help women achieve business success. The Boston YWCA inducted her into their Women of Achievement Class of 1999 and she was honored, June 2000, with the Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus’ Abigail Adams Award as an outstanding Massachusetts woman. Pine Manor College recognized her at its 2001 graduation with an honorary Doctors of Letters degree as its most distinguished alumnae. Patriots’ Trail Girl Scout Council recognized her as a 2002 Leading Woman. The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce honored her with its Achievement in Business at the 2002 Pinnacle Awards. And, in 2004 Big Sister Association of Greater Boston honored her at its Annual Gala event. In 2005 Bryant University recognized her as the New England Businesswoman of the Year.

At the community level, she is the former president of the PTGSC and served on the Advisory Board of Key Bank and the Campaign Cabinet of United Way. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the CWE and Delfigo Security Systems. Ms. Donlan is a member of the Corporate Directors Group.
