Hours of Operation -- During tax season, office is open 7 days a week from 9 am to 9 pm; remainder of the year, 8 hours per week.
Staffing --During tax season, there are 6 to 8 prepares, 3 to 5 wavers, and 1 manager/processor at $8 to $10 per hour. Remainder of the year the day-to-day operation is handled by the owner/general manager.
Owner Function and Hours -- Manages the operation (unless delegated to general manager). Owner prepares some tax returns, hires part-time preparers and wavers as needed, does bookkeeping and processing and monitors performance with the corporate office.
