Area & Facilities: The company owns a 12,000 sq. ft. facility that houses their entire operation. The owner would like to keep this facility and lease it back to the new owner, and he is open to negotiating those terms. He would also entertain serious offers to purchase the property and facility. In addition to several offices, there is a full production floor, shipping and receiving department, lab/testing area a conference room and a production meeting room.
Hours & Staffing: Regular hours are Monday through Friday; 8a to 5p, but the volume of work has the facility running seven days a week fairly consistently.
Excluding the owner, there are two managers – one production manager and one sales manager – and 28 other full-time employees. These include two people in shipping/receiving, one in accounting, a purchaser, a quality control inspector and a lab technician/inspector, along with the numerous floor workers.
Company History: The current owner began the business in his garage in 1999 and quickly moved it into a 3,000 sq. ft. facility. In 2003 he purchased his current office/manufacturing location.
