Imagine playing gold and raising money for charity at the same time!
The Company designs and manages golf tournament fundraisers for charitable organizations. The seller believes there is potential to grow to as many as 20 such events per year.
Just started in 2008, the Company already has two tournaments scheduled for Hawaii and more on the drawing board. The cost per player cost is $5,000, which includes round trip airfare, 5 nights premium hotel, golf, banquet, food and more. Our agreement with the non profits provides them $1,000 per paying player for their fundraising. Based on a proforma financial analysis, the Company will net approximately $200,000 per event if the event is sold out (144 players).
The business is owned by two equal partners. One had to suddenly quit for financial reasons unrelated to the business. The remaining owner wants to say on and is looking to find a Hawaii based partner willing to step in and begin work as soon as possible. Marketing and accounting will be directed from the mainland. The buyer would manage all the activities on the ground here in Hawaii.
